| Normand Champigny, PEng, MASc Position: President, COO & Director Mr. Champigny is a senior mining professional with 30 years of international practice mostly with world-leading consultancy organizations. From 2009 to present, he was part of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Americas' Mining Centre of Excellence. His previous experience includes Executive Vice President for Azimut Exploration Inc. (2006-2009), Associate Partner with IBM Business Consulting Services as Americas Mining Industry Leader (2002-2006), and Principal Consultant for the Mining Industry Group with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (2000-2002). Mr. Champigny has a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal (1979). He obtained a Master's degree in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia (1981) and a Specialized Diploma in Geostatistics from the École des Mines de Paris (1987). He is a Director of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada, Director of Fonds-Restor Action Nunavik; Director of First Uranium Corporation; Chairman of the board of directors of Minalliance; and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, the Professional Engineers of Ontario, and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. | |
| Bassam Moubarak Position: Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary & Director Mr. Moubarak is a Chartered Accountant with expertise in corporate finance, corporate reporting, financial processes, financing and risk management. Prior to joining Blue Sky, Mr. Moubarak was Chief Financial Officer of Petaquilla Minerals Ltd. where he was instrumental in raising in excess of $120 Million to develop and bring into production the Molejon Gold Mine, and assisted in the sale of Petaquilla Copper Ltd to Inmet Mining Corporation. Mr. Moubarak also previously held the position of Senior Manager with the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP., where he led audits of public companies and oversaw SOX 404 implementations with specific emphasis on the mining industry. Mr. Moubarak has a B.A. in Economics from Simon Fraser University. | |
| Ronald H. McMillan, PhD, P.Geo. Position: Director, Chief Technical Consultant Dr. R.H. McMillan has over 45 years of experience as an exploration and mining geologist throughout Canada, North America and on several other continents, where he has undertaken detailed and regional property evaluations as well as estimation of mineral resources. He has served as Exploration Manager or Consulting Geologist with several well known mining companies including Westmin Resources Ltd., Cameco Corp., Noranda Exploration Co. Ltd., Teck Exploration Ltd. and Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. Several important gold deposits were discovered by exploration programs under his direction. He has served on the Board of Directors and/or as VP Exploration of several junior mining companies. He has authored numerous papers on uranium exploration and uranium deposits presented to, among others, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, the American Nuclear Association, the Royal Society (of London), the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy and the Mineralogical Society of Canada. He has also served as a Board Member/Director with the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Geological Association of Canada, B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines and the Canadian Geoscience Council. Dr. McMillan is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (# 30949879) and with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (# 19475). He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Association for Mineral Exploration BC. | |
| Gerald Carlson, Ph.D, P.Geo. Position: Director Dr. Carlson has been involved in mineral exploration and exploration company management for over 30 years. He is President & C.E.O of Copper Ridge Exploration, past President and C.E.O. of La Teko Resources Ltd., a position he held until the acquisition of La Teko by Kinross. Prior to that, he was President of ConSil Corp. and Vice-President, Exploration, for Dentonia Resources Ltd. Dr. Carlson's educational background includes a B.A.Sc. from University of Toronto in Geological Engineering and graduate studies in Economic Geology including a M.Sc. from Michigan Technological University and Ph.D. from Dartmouth College. He is also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Almaden Minerals Ltd., Golden Aria Corp., Tarsis Capital Corp., Panthera Exploration Inc., and BonTerra Resources Inc. Mr. Carlson is the President of the Society of Economic Geologists Canada Foundation, a past President of AME BC (formerly the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines) and, in 2003, was awarded the CIM's J.C. | Ronald Netolitzky, MSc. Position: Director Mr. Netolitzky has Snip, Eskay Creek, and Brewery Creek gold mines to his credit and he is one of a handful of Canadian explorationists acknowledged as a successful mine finder and developer. He was honoured with the Bill Dennis Prospector of the Year Award in 1990 by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. He was the Chairman of Viceroy Exploration with the exploration success of Gualcaymayo gold mine in Argentina resulting in the sale of the Company to Yamana Gold. | |
